We have a Nordic wooden barrel with cartridge filtration, which I built myself.
As owners of a Nordic hottub with cartridge filtration for more than years, we had to change the water very frequently because we did not want to use products such as chlorine or bromine for water maintenance (these are not compatible with a Nordic wooden barrel). After a lot of research we came across the Spabalancer website and after asking a few questions about these products we decided to order one litre of Spabalancer Basic and one litre of UltraShock for testing.
After 6 months of use without changing the water, we appreciate the qualities of these products: no smell, no skin irritation, flawless plumbing and water that is always clear despite daily baths. As we will soon be renting out holiday homes with Nordic wooden barrels, this test has reassured us and we will be able to use these products in these baths and offer healthy water to our customers.
