1. Collection, processing and use of personal data
We collect, process (store, modify, transmit, block, delete) and use personal data such as

  • Basic data (data used for the establishment, contentual configuration or alteration of a contractual relationship regarding use) such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number, birth date, user ID, static IT addresses.
  • Usage data (data that is required to enable the use of features/services in order to perform associated billing) such as attributes to identify the user, information on the start/end and extent of each usage, and the features/services used by the website visitor.

We collect, store, modify, transmit and utilize personal data as stipulated in the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act:

  • for the intended purpose of the contractual relationship,
  • to protect our legitimate interests,
  • to protect the legitimate interests of a third party,
  • for promotional purposes, market and public opinion research, to the extent that you have consented to this and have not subsequently revoked your consent.

Within the statutorily allowed framework, this involves data in list form or otherwise aggregated, and pertains to members of a group of persons. This data is limited to an indication of affiliation to this group of people, as well as to the designation of profession, industry or business, names, titles, academic degrees, address and date of birth.

We collect personal information upon “Registration“ as part of the contractual agreement for the use of our services. In those areas where personal information is collected, we require consent for the collection, processing and use of personal data.

We use cookies in some areas of our website. Cookes are identifiers which enable us to offer more individualized services while the website is being used. We do not use cookies to gather personal data.

We store personal data

  • after consent is given for the collection, processing and use of personal data,
  • to the extent of the details provided during registration and in records in databases, user accounts and forums,
  • online on the servers and backup media of the internet provider contracted by us,
  • offline on our own servers and backup media,
  • on the basis of legal, statutory and contractual retention regulations, as well as for data backup and data privacy control. We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access.

We modify personal information to the extent required to correct errors or make adjustments to the information provided (due to changes in name, address, etc.).

We transmit personal information

  • to the banking institutions and internet payment services contracted by us, and thereafter to their data processing partners/contractual partners for billing purposes,
  • to the service providers contracted by us for the purposes of advertising, marketing and opinion research,
  • if necessary, to certain agencies as expressly required to be transmitted by law or judicial authorities.

We delete personal data,

  • if storage of the information is prohibited,
  • if the information is no longer required to perform certain activities for which we are responsible,
  • after the expiration of the contractual relationship and the applicable legal, statutory or contractual retention periods and other statutory provisions.

We lock personal information if

  • deletion is precluded by legal, statutory or contractual retention obligations,
  • there is reason to believe that deleting information would impair the legitimate interests of the party involved
  • due to the specific type of storage, a solution would not be possible or would require a disproportionate amount of time, expense or effort.

2. Revocation of consent
If you gave express consent during the ordering process, you may still revoke your consent at any time with future effect. You may revoke consent to receive the newsletter by clicking on the "Newsletter" link and selecting the "Unsubscribe" option.

3.  Data Analysis
This website uses technology by etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com) to collect and store data for marketing and optimization purposes.

This data may be used to create user profiles under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the website visitor’s web browser. Cookies allow us to recognize the visitor's browser.

The data collected using etracker technologies is not used to personally identify a user without the express permission of the user, and is not aggregated with any personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. Data collection and storage can be revoked at any time with future effect.
