Water problems right at the beginning with my Softub Resort & Banisan
I finally received my new whirlpool "Softub Resort 200 cm" in mid-December 2020 and set it up straight away. I filled it with water and used everything according to the Banisan products. The first week was great, but then the difficulty of dosing and daily use began with the Banisan products. I also suspected the Banisan aromatherapy fragrance bottle of leaving big oily bubbles in the pool. In addition, the water was already becoming cloudy in the second week, although we were only in the pool once a day with 2 people and immediately after that we added chlorine and took measurements twice a day with test strips and the AquaChek TruTest reader.
Then I did some research on the internet and came across SpaBalancer... the important and comprehensible information I got there alone made me order the products. My order arrived after Christmas and I immediately put SpaBalancer Basic into the pool. The whirlpool water turned slightly yellowish as indicated and then after 24 hours the water was so clear that my wife and I were amazed. We continued to add Chlorisan to maintain the disinfection. Immediately we looked at the filter, which had picked up all the dirt and then cleaned it overnight with the Filter Cleaner, which was very easy. This has convinced me so much that I am now still switching to Ultrashock and saying goodbye to Chlorisan. I'm also trying the scented pads for the first time, although the scent (still with the addition of Chlorisan) could be a bit more intense. But it smells wonderfully of lemon.
All in all, I am now very happy with the SpaBalancer products.
