We have been using SpaBalancer products for water care for our 10,000-litre SwimSpa for 10 years and have never changed the water since. We always have a landing net within reach and only use the spa as a couple, occasionally with grandson and after showering. Every two to three weeks we add 70 ml of SpaBalancer and clean the filter. We wipe the walls with a microfibre glove about every three months with the pumps running.
The water is clear, odourless and tasteless. No one has skin problems after using it, not even our grandson with neurodermatitis. Two years ago we had the water tested for legionella, without any findings. We use the SwimSpa all year round about 5 days a week. The pH value is stable, so no chemicals are needed to correct it.
Occasionally, water has to be topped up. Then, after adding SpaBalancer, there is a slight cloudiness that disappears after a few days of forced filter use. Previously we had worked with chlorine. Besides the unpleasant smell, the skin itched and tightened. The pH value and chlorine content had to be checked and corrected again and again. We also had to change the water more often.
We are enthusiastic about SpaBalancer, even though it is unfortunately a bit expensive.
