I bought a Hotspring Propel whirlpool a year ago, which had previously been treated with chlorine for about half a year. As I didn't want to use chlorine, I came across SpaBalancer during my research. Full of enthusiasm, I put my whirlpool into operation and followed everything according to the instructions. Unfortunately, I didn't know that SpaBalancer Basic wouldn't work with a ceramic filter as it is too impermeable. The SpaBalancer service team was quickly able to recommend the right fleece filters to me.
But even after that, the result was not satisfactory. I kept getting brown and greasy deposits on the edge of the pool and cloudy water. Only after an intensive basic cleaning, which was recommended to me by SpaBalancer after a telephone consultation, do I have almost no more problems and I am very satisfied with the products and the service. It just takes a little experience, feeling and patience to get the water in the whirlpool that you want. In addition to regular correct dosing with SpaBalancer and UltraShock, the pH value and above all the thorough and regular cleaning of the whirlpool filters are the prerequisites for good water quality.
