Whirlpool filter heavily soiled despite water care with SpaBalancer -- F079

We have a whirlpool and maintain and clean the water with your products according to the instructions. However, as you can see on the attached photo, our filter is very dirty. The filter was in the pool for four days and the water was automatically filtered by the hot tub during this time. Now it has taken on a cloudy colour today. The values (pH value etc.) are within the norm. Can you please tell me what the cause of the contamination is and what we can do about it?

Answer:
If the water is very dirty, SpaBalancer Basic encapsulates this dirt. This separates it from the water and the bacteria can no longer use this dirt to multiply and produce biofilms. Therefore, this picture should be seen as positive for the time being - SpaBalancer Basic obviously works very well. Now, of course, the dirt must be removed from the water through the filters. The best way to do this is to filter as long as possible. If the filter looks like on the photo, this indicates that this filter can no longer filter. Further encapsulated dirt remains in the water and the water can become cloudy. You should clean the filter daily or even twice a day if necessary. Until no more dirt settles.

For quick cleaning, proceed as follows:
1) Put twice as much filter cleaner (we recommend using SpaBalancer Filter Clean Natural) into the warm water as usual.
2) Put the filter into the cleaning solution for two hours.
3) Remove the filter and rinse it with boiling hot water.
4) Then rinse it thoroughly with the filter spray until no more foam and dirt comes out. Then put the filter back in place.
You can also add 50 - 80 ml of UltraShock to the water every day. UltraShock will oxidize the existing dirt and thereby further relieve the filter.
