Strong foam formation in the whirlpool due to SpaBalancer Basic? -- F117

After adding SpaBalancer Basic, a lot of foam develops in the whirlpool. I also use bromine tablets for water care. Can this be the cause?

Answer:
Bromine can form as a waste product when bromine is used in the whirlpool. If you now add SpaBalancer Basic to the water, the Basic encapsulates the bromine. This can lead to foam. We would recommend combining the SpaBalancer Basic with the SpaBalancer UltraShock instead of bromine tablets.

With bromines, there is also a risk that - when using an ozonator - ozone can cause carcinogenic bromate to form in the water.
