I've had the MSpa Delight Alpine D-AL06 inflatable whirlpool for 9 days. So far I have cleaned with oxygen Multitabs, because I do not want to use chlorine. (Skin problems child) Now I came across SpaBalancer on the Internet. The product description appealed to me very much and I would like to change my whirlpool care. I have already received the Starter Set. Now my question: Do I have to refill the whirlpool or can I immediately add the products to the existing water? I have read that if the water is under 3 weeks in the whirlpool, it does not have to be emptied. Is this really the case and can I really start changing right away?

If you have used active oxygen, you should wait until there is no more active oxygen in the water. This will be the case after two to three days. Active oxygen and Ultrashock neutralize each other. However, you can add SpaBalancer Basic to the water in advance. This is compatible with active oxygen.
The rule with the 3 weeks comes from chlorinated whirlpools. Cyanuric acid and bound chlorine accumulate quickly. A water which is older than 3 to 4 weeks has already accumulated too many harmful substances and therefore it makes more sense to empty the whirlpool and start with fresh water without harmful substances.
