Is there a minimum temperature in the whirlpool for SpaBalancer products? -- F082

Is there a minimum temperature of the whirlpool water which is necessary for the effectiveness of the SpaBalancer products? I operate a whirlpool and would like to reduce the water temperature to 20 degrees in summer. I have been using SpaBalancer and ultrashock in my whirlpool at water temperatures between 32 and 39 degrees for several years - and I am very satisfied with them. However, we don't use the whirlpool in summer yet - but would like to try it at a temperature between 20 and 25 degrees.

Answer:
There is no minimum temperature for the effectiveness of SpaBalancer products. However, the following applies: the colder the water, the better! Because bacteria multiply fastest at a water temperature between 30 degrees and 40 degrees. In this temperature range, more than one billion bacteria can develop from one bacterium within one day. This naturally requires a higher quantity of disinfectant. If the water temperature falls below 30 degrees, the bacteria will continue to multiply and will become slower. Therefore, you will need less disinfectant at lower temperatures.

UltraShock forms a water-soluble gas in the water, which consists of two thirds oxygen. At high temperatures and with a lot of water movement, this gasses out faster, but at lower temperatures and less use, it remains stable and effective in the water for longer. SpaBalancer Basic is equally strong and effective at any water temperature.
