I have brownish, slippery deposits in my Intex hot tub. Can I get them off with UltraShock? -- F065

I have had an INTEX whirlpool for about 6 weeks and I operate it with the addition of salt. About two weeks ago brownish, slippery deposits have formed on the pool edge after use and also the pool floor is very slippery, especially in the edge area (floor/lower wall area). Can I use SpaBalancer UltraShock to remove the biofilm even in a saltwater whirlpool? Do I still need agents such as ph-Plus or ph-Minus?

Answer:
These brown, slippery deposits are biofilms. You can remove them with Ultrashock. You can do it even faster with UltraShock and Anorganic Shock.

Cleaning with UltraShock:

UltraShock works with all pH values. Anorganic Shock works best at a pH value below 7.0.
A high pH-value can also lead to limestone in the water. This limestone can become the basis for deposits. And it can cloud the water. Therefore, you should always regulate the pH value. The ideal pH value is between 6.5 and 6.8 ...
