In principle, you can work with Systemflush in a whirlpool with a sand filter system. However, SystemFlush would have to be completely rinsed out of the sand afterwards. If this does not happen, foam would form in the whirlpool tub water. In this case, both the whirlpool tub water and the sand would have to be changed.
For this reason, we recommend turning off the sand filter and closing the valve if possible when cleaning with SpaBalancer SystemFlush - so that the sand filter does not even come into contact with the SystemFlush. The sand itself should then be cleaned with a relatively strong dosage of UltraShock and then backwashed.
