For about 3 weeks now I’ve been noticing brown slime forming around the nozzles

We’ve been using SpaBalancer in our new hot tub right from the start. For about 3 weeks now I’ve been noticing brown slime forming around the nozzles. What could this be related to?

It may be encapsulated dirt. SpaBalancer encapsulates dirt at the molecular level and forms clumps around it. The clumping causes the surface area of the dirt to increase, after which it’s filtered out. However, sometimes this encapsulated dirt is deposited in areas with no filtering or only very weak filtering action. And almost no flow is present at the sides of the nozzles.

You can remove the accumulated dirt with our SpaBalancer Ultrashock product. Add 50ml of Ultrashock per 1000 liters of water. Wait two days. If the dirt is still not gone, add Ultrashock to the water again. Adding SpaBalancer Ultrashock to the hot tub in the evening will let you use your hot tub again the next day.
