Billions of bacteria live on our skin, which are extremely important for the functioning of our skin as the largest excretory organ of the human body. Chlorine is an oxidizing disinfectant that kills all bacteria. Therefore, with the frequent use of the spa bath, a lot of bacteria on the skin are destroyed. Sometimes, the bacteria do not recover and just die. This changes the skin. Basic functions of the skin, such as e.g. fat metabolism and the removal of contaminants through the skin pores can no longer function properly. It may cause disorders in the moisture content of the skin. It can form eczema and itchy skin.
