SpaBalancer FilterClean Classic 0,5 Liter

Modern cartridge filters are made of a special fabric, which have millions of tiny passages. The dirt is caught in these passages and is so retained. If the hot tub is carelessly cleaned, the bacteria will entrench themselves in the lining and form a biofilm that protects them. Additional fats, oils and dander are the food source for the bacteria. Then the filter becomes a water pollutant. Contaminated filters cause the filter pump to use more power, in turn shortening its life span.

For these reasons, it is important to thoroughly clean the filter regularly: SpaBalancer FilterClean dissolves organic dirt, grease and oil out of the filter lining. 
Clean the filter every two to three weeks (a weekly clean may be needed in the early days with SpaBalancer) and use a second set of filters during cleaning time. To do this, insert the filter into a container and add 100 ml to 200 ml of SpaBalancer FilterClean and then fill it with water until the filters are covered. The higher the concentration of SpaBalancer FilterClean, the better the cleaning effect. The amount of SpaBalancer FilterClean needed depends on the pollution present. Leave the filter in the tank with SpaBalancer FilterClean for 12 hours. Then remove the filter and rinse it thoroughly with a water hose. SpaBalancer FilterCleaner is recommended for this purpose. Replace your filter every two years. The nonwoven filter loses its effectiveness over the course of time. Even seemingly good filters can provide poor filter performance.

Shake thoroughly before use

• Clean the filter every 2-3 weeks
• Place the filter in a container. Fill the container with water until the filter is covered. Add about 100 ml of filter cleaner to every 10 litres of water
• Leave the filter in the cleaning solution for 12 hours
• Remove the filter and rinse thoroughly
